A fantastic detached house located in an elevated position close to the centre of Polruan, with magical views over the estuary to Fowey. The house is built on two levels, with large windows that take advantage of the position and views of the water. The gardens surround the house, with a wooden deck looking over the village onto the estuary, and a further deck behind the house, facing west and also enjoying great water views.Cleverly renovated and presented, the property is full off charm and interest, with two double bedrooms and a very cool sitting room (with a wood burning stove.)
The house has real potential to be extended, subject to planning permission being achieved. It previously has had permission to be extended by adding a second floor.
The house is at present a successful holiday let.
From Polruan's quay, walk up the road to the crossroads and turn right into West Street. Take the first left into Sydney Hill and then bare left into Tinkers Hill. The house is on the right half way up the hill.
Polruan is a traditional waterside village situated on the east bank of the River Fowey. The Fowey estuary is well known for its safe anchorage and excellent sailing facilities.
