This is a wonderful 1930s family home, which has been modernised and is presented to a standard which credits its current owner. This home occupies a commanding, elevated position overlooking the village of Par and the surrounding area, whilst offering a view out to sea and part of St Austell Bay from both the master bedroom and bedroom two. The house boasts spacious accommodation throughout which offers a light modern feel, but is also greatly in-keeping with the period of the house. The ground floor accommodation has a lovely flow, an impressive entrance hall leads off to the main reception rooms; the lounge and sitting room are adjoined by an archway and the kitchen and conservatory also look into one another, with a second entrance porch offering access to the terraced rear courtyard. There is also a downstairs WC and outside store. Upstairs, there are three double bedrooms, with the master benefitting from an en-suite shower room and bedroom three boasting a dressing area. The family bathroom is of a fantastic size, and offers a separate bath and shower as part of the modern suite. Outside the house, there is an enclosed garden to the front with borders containing a profusion of plants and shrubs. There is also a terraced patio which may also be accessed via the sitting room. To the very rear there is a garage and parking.
From our office in Fowey, head out of Fowey towards Par/St Austell on the A3082. On entering Par One Way System, continue straight along Par Green (straight section of One Way System). Before the railway arch, turn right onto Moorland Road (One Way). At the end of Moorland Road, keep right, following the road for Fowey. Go past Spar and Launderette on your left. After less than 100 yards the turning for Upper Eastcliffe will be seen on your left. Go up the lane, turning left at the top. Continue to the end and the house will be on your left.
Par offers a multitude of independent shops and facilities with good local schools. Par has its own beach at Par Sands and another smaller beach at Spit Point. Access is first class with arterial roads leading to Truro, Bodmin, Plymouth and beyond. It also has a railway station on the Penzance/Paddington mainline, and a branch line rail service to Newquay.
